Love Isn't Fair

Love they say is a beautiful thing
But they never mention the pain it can bring
Shakespeare described love as a thornless rose
Every rose has thorns,so what does he know
And Browning compared thee to a summers day
But theres a storm cloud waiting behind every ray
Some say love is like walking on air
But I say when it comes to all the hurt and pain,
love just isn't fair.
