| Ballet and Contemporary |
| In Ballet and Contemporary we the aim is to give people an all round knowledge of both dance styles whilst making it fun and funky! The classes are for all ages and abilities and BOTH SEXES (boys, do not be afraid). You don't need to have had any previous training either. There are no tutu's or unitards here, think more along the lines of Madonna, Missy Elliott, The Propellar Heads and Aphex Twin. The class also incorporates the more classical side of ballet focusing on barre work, centre work and some rep pieces from the classics that everyone's heard of. The classes usually alternate from Ballet one week and Contemporary the next with different teachers for each. Ballet also alternates Classical work with more Free Movement based pices but to be sure always check the notice board. Feel free to come and have a peek at what we do and enjoy! |

| As you may or may not know we are having to say goodbye to our current Ballet Co-Ordinator Sandra because, being a third year student with a work ethic, she has decided to stop teaching ballet and concentrate on her degree. We're all going to miss her dearly and it can be said that she's rescued this class from the brink and brought it up to date. However, this still leaves us with no Ballet Co-ordinator. Some previous experience would be a bonus but you needen't have taught before or ever come to a class.
