| James J. Cavacini Sr., 91, died Sunday, March 26, 2006 at Glenbrook Rehabilitation, Fort Wayne. Born in Windber, PA., he retired from Superior Linkage. He was a U. S. Coast Guard World War II veteran; and member of American Legion post 330, 40 & 8, Voitare 37 and V.F.W. Post 1421. Survivors include his wife Josephine (Colone) Cavacini of Fort Wayne; sons James (Jane) Cavacini Jr. and Cary (Ellen) Cavacini, both of Fort Wayne; daughter, Cathy (Richard) Cheatham of Kauffman, Texas; eight grandsons and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Thomas in 1993. Private family service. Calling is from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at D.O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road.
