Case study: 1
Cory is a 13 year old spayed female labrador retreiver.  She presented with weakness in her hind legs and an inability to go up and down stairs,  a bony mass in her skull  prevented her from eating because she couldn't open her mouth more than 1 inch.  Electro-acupuncture was started three times per week.  Her response to treatment was slow, but steady.  Over the course of 6 weeks, treatment was decreased to weekly, then every 2-3 weeks.  Cory can now open her mouth 4 inches, eats well and gets around fairly well.  Cory's attitue has picked up and her owner is thrilled with her progress.  She has her happy black lab again!

Case study  2
Casey is a 12 1/2 year Pembroke Welsh Corgi.  She presented with an inability to weight bear on her left hind leg.  Surgery was not an option and the owner wanted an alternative to steroid treatment.  Casey had  a history of back pain with weakness in her hind end.  Electroacupuncture was started and by the end of the third week, she was walking almost normally.  She has occasional relapses, but responds well to each treatment.
