Bird is a 4 year old neutered male domestic shorthair.  His owner brought him in because he was producing large amounts of urine and was incontinent.  He also was overweight and had a dandruff problem. He didn't have a urinary tract infection and his bloodwork was normal.  Acupuncture was done on a weekly basis for 1 month, then decreased to bi-weekly.  He started using his litterbox exclusively and his urine production decreased to normal amounts.  His energy level has increased and he has a brighter, more playful attitude.  His dandruff has lessened.  After 6 weeks of treatment we plan to decrease him to maintainence therapy.
