"As the back cover states, 'Lovesong for the Bad Priestess... deals with teenage girls who worship satan, books that inspire people to murder, religious fanatics who worship a porn star, and apocalyptic hysteria in 1999. It's dirty, blasphemous, perverted, and funny' which is all true.
What is left out is that Kedrowski's debut novel is a roller coaster ride of teenage confusion and social vitriol interspersed with the MTV smash-jump-cut sensational honesty that can only come from an author who involves both the reader and himself in the telling of his tale.
