This page contains more of my thoughts about the TRUTH.
I would like you to sit quietly and imagine the world based upon the knowledge that there is definitely an afterlife, and moreover one that is totally dependant upon the way we have lived our lives during this brief time on Earth. Imagine if you can a life that will be near enough endless, but one where we still need to grow spiritually, and to progress further in our knowledge of God.
Now think for a minute about the type of life you would like this future one to be. Do you want a life where you feel in harmony with the people around you? Do you want to feel comfortable? For you can. Then do you want a life of idleness and self-gratification? A life where you share with others who are full of greed or hate? For that is possible too. Or would you like a life where you can learn more, teach more, help more and receive more? A life where you feel (and know) that you are contributing to not only your own well-being but to that of others? Well the choice is yours.
It all comes down to how you live this life. The next point I would ask you to think about is your current life. What makes you happy? Is it money? Is it the quest for money, the fighting, cheating, and lying to get it? Is it power over others? Is it the knowing that you are doing a good job? Knowing that you are helping others, teaching them, healing them? What truly makes you feel at ease with yourself. Take a look in the mirror. What kind of person do you see looking back at you? Is the real you someone who you would want to spend eternity with?
Now, if you accept the principle that we will inherit the afterlife our current life determines, would we want to change the way we live? For it is not to late.
And just imagine how this world would be if everybody took responsibility for their own lives and thus their afterlife. If we weighed our actions against the effect this would have on our future, think how much better the world would be. We know when we do things that are right or wrong, for we have a conscience that tells us, and if we listen to that little voice inside, we will find that we are helped more and more to tread the path is best for our spiritual growth.
I sincerely believe that it is our spiritual growth and enrichment that is important, much more important than any material gain could possibly be.
