Maurice Richard was born August 4th 1921, in Montreal Quebec, Canada. |

|
|
Maurice played right wing, shot left and scored 544 goals and had 421 assists in 18 seasons with the Montreal Canadians. |
|
|
|
|
|
Maurice played in 978 regular season games with a total of 965 points in his 18 seasons. |
|
|
|
|
Maurice was the first player to score 50 goals in one season. (1944-1945) |
|
|
|
|
Maurice won the Hart trophy in 1947 and won 8 Stanley cups with Montreal during his career. |
|
|
|
|
|
Maurice was a part of the 1st All-Star team 8 times and part of the 2nd All-Star team 6 times. |
|
|
|
|
|
Maurice was finally inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1961. |
|
|

|
|
|
|

|
|
|
|
Maurice died May 27th 2000 of abdominal cancer and will be sadly missed. |
