Social
St. John Ambulance Malaysia of Keat Hwa Secondary School's Division is a team like a big family that comprises members from different races. Despite this, the members had always helped each other and are undivided through eternity. This condition was made possible by the social activities carried out throughout the year.
Many social activities had been planned and carried out throughout the year. The activities can be divided into three categories. The first category is the activities that were carried out involving all the members in the division. The reason of carrying out such activities is to tighten the relationship and encourage the value of co-operation among the senior and junior members. The committee always know the importance of tolerance, co-operation and unity, so such activities have been assured to be carried out perfectly every year.
The second category is the activities is the activities organised by other society or other uniform units in this school or other schools. No teams can survive if they do not mix around with others. So the division also pays special attention to the relationship with other teams. By attending such activities, we gained lots of new knowledge.
The third category is the activities which need members to be sent to give lectures on first aid to other society, uniform units and also community associations when invited. After going through such kind of activities, members of this division will spread the first aid knowledge to the community.
Through the activities, the division's members learn to be more independent, have wide knowledge, have the ability to be leader and have widen and open mind. The division also hopes that through these activities, members won't get involve in unhealthy activities.
