DESCRIPTION: It is hard to sit here and write about ones self, but here I goMy Mom claims that my artistic talent has filtered its way down to me threw many generations, both on her side of the family and my Fathers. Being an only child, it was easy for my parents to try and bring forth my so-called talent, which appeared at an early age. I have had some teaching along the way mainly from general schooling the rest just comes naturally.

If I was asked which type of media I generally work in, I really couldnt give you just one type. Prismacolor colored pencils and a plain white sheet of paper are the most common tools I use, however, I have used acrylic paints, watercolors, pastels, and ink. Paper isnt the only surface of choice for yours truly; I work on ceramic, wood, and even fabric. I have molded clay, pieced toge-ther jewelry, made costumes from scratch, and dont forget knitting.

I guess I am truly misunderstood by the general public as they take a first glance at me. I tend to wear all black, a sad expression, and I cant forget the tattoos on my body. What the average Joe doesnt seem to realize is my tattoos are not just any ol image that I picked off the flash hanging on the tattoo parlors walls to look cool or bad, no, three of my tattoos that I placed on my body so the naked eye can see, are my own original designs! I guess you can say I am my own walking art portfolio

You may have also taken the time to notice that my art is mainly of animals or mythical beasts. I hate to say it, but I am not a people person. Some say I share a gift with the animals. I dont think it is a gift, I just think when it comes down to it, I understand them and they understand me.

Though I have always done art most of my life, I am still new to the art world. Feeling the need to be around other artists I joined the Art League of Gloucester. Since then, I have displayed my art in the local library; I was picked as one of the top ten artists in 2005 to win a national Award from the Yu-Gi-Oh Beckett Unofficial Collector magazine, and to my amazement, the very same magazine, in a 2006 competition, picked me again, where only three winners were chosen! When the winner s were announced my award winning piece of art entitled, Dark Bakura, was published in the 20th issue of the magazine and in the 27th issue, you can see my second winning piece of art entitled, Yamis Rayne.

Well, I hope this little bit of information was of some interest to you. Maybe now you can understand and appreciate my artwork and Kearas Dungeon a little more.
