We are a small farm located in south central Iowa. We started out with goats about 4 years ago. At that time we purchased a bred doe named Lily who gave us twin doelings. We kept one of the doelings and call her Violet. The other doeling, Daisy, we sold to friends of ours. Daisy unfortunatly broke her leg and had to be put down. We evenually sold Lily along with one of her does.

Violet is currently our milk producer giving us about 5# of milk with two milkings/day. She is our matriarch doe and keeps the herd in order.

We bought a second Nubian doe on 8-31-04 and her name is Lucy. She is a very gentle doe and loves human attention. She is a doll on the stand and is very patient with everything
being done with her.

On 9-17-04 we purchased Maggie and a buckling named Garrett from Swami-Hill Dairy Goats in Traer, Iowa. Both are registerd and Garrett threw us some gorgeous babies in 2005.

On 10-20-04 we bought another registered buck from Ma's Acres that we named Frederick. He threws all spots and his babies are beautiful.

Our goal is to have quality does and breed them for home milking, making soaps and other products, provide meat for us and extra income by selling our culled stock.  We hope that you take time to explore our website and enjoy what you see.

On August 20, 2005 we took  a trip out to Colorado to pick up three Sable Saanen does and a buck.  The does are absolutley wonderful and the buck is quite handsome. We are excited to start a new Sable Saanen herd here in Iowa. We have learned a lot from LaVern Charles on Goats 101 and will be getting our goats from her. Thanks Vern!!
