Juggalo Joe felt inferior to the other contestants. Each man was considered equal, but Joe felt he had a disadvantage. The battle royal was for the number one contendorship for the world title. The winner of the battle royal was to face the champ, Triple H.
Juggalo Joe didnt have the physique and felt weaker than the others. Joe was always putting himself down. He had always wanted to be a professional wrestler, but never thought he would make it. But, somehow, he was scheduled to fight in a fifteen-man match. Joe was worried. He was sure to be the first person out. His mind even went so far as to picture his take out. One of the lesser men are sure to take me out, Joe said to himself. Juggalo Joe was preparing for the fight. I can hear it now. OneTwoThree! Joe groaned and climbed out of his truck. He could hear the fans screaming for their favorite wrestlers. He wondered what it would be like to have fans. To have millions of people calling his name and chanting for him. Oh, it would be wonderful. I really dont want to lose. I want to go on and face Triple H, Juggalo Joe said to himself. The match was about to begin. The crowd was on their feet. Any minute, the wrestlers would be announced. |

| Joe woke up in the doctors office. He had no idea where he was. Did I really win the battle royal? was the first thing out of his mouth. The doctor said yes.
Son, can you tell me who you are? the doctor asked. Joe. Juggalo Joe, Joe said. The doctor asked for a last name so that family could be notified. Hogan, Joe replied. And only contact Sherbert. Joe rattled off a number and Sherbert was called. Joe was then released from the hospital with specific instructions to go home and rest for a week. A week and a half later, the Wrestlemania championship was scheduled to take place. As soon as Joe was allowed to practice, all that he did was practice. Besides, he wanted to do good because Sherbert, his only fan, would be there. Sherbert was Joes best friend. She had promised that if he ever wrestled, she would always be his fan. And she was loyal. Wednesday had arrived. Joe spent all day at the gym getting ready. At about two in the afternoon, Triple H had walked into the gym. The Wrestlemania Championship match is about to begin. The contestants today are Triple H. and Juggalo Joe. The first man to pin the other wins, the announcer stated. The bell rang and the match began. Joe had decided to try and wear down Triple H. Triple H lunged at Joe, and Joe had quickly sidestepped him. Triple H lunged again and Joe clotheslined him. Triple H had been temporarily knocked out when Joe's arm caught his neck. Joe got down and twisted Triple Hs leg around. Triple H kicked out of the grab, stood up, and lunged again. Joe kicked him in the stomach and punched him in the face. Triple H was out once more. Juggalo Joe came up behind him and grabbed his chin, pulling his neck back. Then Joe grabbed his legs and pulled them up. Triple H was still out. Joe rolled Triple J over pinned him. ONETWO the crowd stood and screamed. THREE! Sherbert screamed. Juggalo Joe had won the title. He was now the Wrestlemania champ. As soon as Joe was announced winner, he had fainted. So, youre the wimp that won the Battle Royal. That was just beginners luck. Theres no way that an idiot like you will be able to beat me, Triple H said. Joe was practically crying in the corner. Ive seen babies cry less than you. You are a pathetic, worthless wimp. Ill have you torn up and thrown all over the ring by the time Im done with you. Youll be crying for your mother if I even step towards you. And you think you can beat me? You are just a fat kid that wants to fit in. Dont worry. Ill make you fit in. the other ropes would love to have you strung around the ring with them, Triple H said and laughed, walking from the room. Match time had arrived. Joe was scared. He had thought that Triple H was really going to string him around the ring. Joe! Sherbert screamed. Paramedics rushed in, but Joe was unconscious. It appeared that the blow to his head had caused him to have a concussion. He was out cold and blood had swelled his brain. Juggalo Joe was immediately rushed to the emergency room. The medics had told Sherbert they were going to operate. They had looked him over and then told her he had to come out of his coma in order for them to operate. Sherbert had been allowed to spend the time in Joes hospital room. She was told to do everything possible to get him to wake up. She sang to him, told him about everyday life, and told him how much she loved him and how much she wanted him to wake up. As the weeks passed, Joe had shown no sign of recovery. But, his brain had continued to swell. After three weeks in the hospital, Juggalo Joe Hogan died. And he never lived to see how famous he actually had been. Nor had he lived to hear another fan shout his name. And Sherbert had never heard him speak the words so dear to her again. She would never find out that Joe had loved her more than just a friend, that he loved her as much as she loved him. |
