*HISTORY OF THE MIGHTY KAPPA EPSILON (K.E.) CHAPTER*
The Mighty Kappa Epsilon Chapter was founded on the campus of Saint Augustine's

College in Raleigh, North Carolina on April 17, 1948. Students from the Delta Psi

chapter of Shaw University transferred thier membership to St. Augustine's college, initiating the birth of the Kappa Epsilon charter. Omega Psi Phi became the 1st black

Greek Organization on Saint Augustine's College campus and sixteen male students

were introduced to the student body as the chapter's first members. Dr. Prezell R.

Robinson was instrumental in forming KE but graduated before the charter was

formed. Since KE was founded, over 250 chapter members have been initiated.
