My name is Wade. I'm a 40 year old male who was born and raised in Ventura, California. In June of 1995, I moved to Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. I'm married and have three step-daughters. I work for a company that manufactures oilfield equipment. I'm an inventory specialist in the stockroom. I like my job, and it provides me with a good living. In regards to radios, in 1979, I started out with a three channel handheld from Radio Shack. In 1980, I bought a 40 channel Roadtalker from Sears, a 5/8 wave Crossbow antenna from Radio Shack, and my friend's dad made me a power supply. In 1998, I bought a Cobra 148F GTL DX+ and became involved with sideband as a freebander. In June of 2006, I finally got my technician plus license. In July 2006, I got my general license. Now I'm studying for my extra license. Also, I'm a proud member of the NC-12-Meter-Group. |
