Long ago Tiarnan's ancestor fell in love with a beauty who his
uncle
craved to own. When she was kidnaped he went to rescue her from
his uncle's evil clutches. Instead sadly in a battle of magic she was
struck down, and he himself soon afterwards for without her he had no
reason to live so he died with her in his arms. Since then a great
curse has taken over Tiarnan's family. All male family members were
slaughtered. This included his father who being sent on a business trip
by his own father fell in love with a gypsy whose side he left for
mere hours to handle work when he was killed and robbed. The style of
this death clearing his father of any crimes. Thankfully his
grandfather never knew of Tiarnan until on his death bed when he
received word of a boy who looked a lot like him and his son. So it was
with his passing Tiarnan's grandfather sent for him making him
duke
of his home. A home that has clearly been haunted for
many a year by a beautiful spirit and something far darker.
