Ted Harts EH-Antenna.com Link More plans and theory can be found at www.eheuroantenna.com for some incredible pictures of antenna's and a test side by side of a 40 dipole and an EH. also check out the message thread for debate and discussion at QRZ.com
This is the prototype 20 meter EH antenna that I built and am testing. It really does work and is only 14 inches long and 2 inches wide. Here is a chart that will show you how to set one up and get it on the air for your testing. There is much more to be done to understand how it works what it does. However, the main thing is that it does work and is only 2% the size of a regular hertz antenna. The "link" is on the outside under the electrical tape on this one. Build one yourself and check it out. It will be great for restricted area's and quick portable setup.
This is from the EH-Antenna.com website with complete details and measurements..

This Antenna for 20 meters was built by Bill, WA4KBD. The link is inside the tube at the bottom where the coax goes in. Bill Reported a 1:5 to 1 SWR and was using an FT 817 with 5 watts out to make contacts with the antenna hanging from the ceiling INSIDE the house. A great idea for apartments and other restricted dwellings.
This page will be under construction, so check back
KE0VH is also in the process of building a 40 meter "cantenna" and I will post details here when it is finished. The project is taking longer due to other commitments, so come back down the road.
Again, check back often as I will be updating pictures and information as much as possible as I receive more from other amateurs and as I have time to build and experiment.
