The KE0VH APRS/Packet Radio Page
I am using APRS for tracking myself, balloon flights and friends when I am in the car using PocketAPRS with my Palm III and at home using the AGWPE soundcard software and UIView.  Click on these to go to the sites and download the software.  The AGWPE software is free and turns your computer soundcard into a TNC .  Also, here is a LINK for instructions on how to interface software such as UIView and others to various soundcards and AGWPE. In the car I use the Palm III running KPC 3 mode into the PK232MBX TNC out of the FT-8100 as pictured.. My PK232 is also operating at home with the AIRMAIL 2000 software for HF email.  I am just starting this and will post more information as I learn it.
For Maps to use and other information click HERE.
At this time I am using maps in .PDB (Palm format) for both Win APRS and the Palm III of course.  These are available for download for free at the North Carolina APRS website, with links there to various other sites. For WINPACK packet software by G4IDE like I use at home click on the link.  I will be including more pictures, instruction and information on this page as time goes by, so check back for more if you are interested in these modes.  Interfacing to radios is easy and I will have more links to show how too.

Here is my mobile setup using the Palm III with Pocket APRS software interfaced to the AEA PK232MBX with the Yaesu FT 8100
Click on the picture for a closeup and see the APRS map on the Palm III. This setup sent the location information on the map below.  I transmitted the information to the 144.39 digipeater as you see on the left hand display of the FT 8100.
Click on the above map to go to the www.findu.com site to see more detailed and zoomed in maps.  This is my location at Clear Channel Satellite Services where I work.
