Membership Requirements:

We welcome any woman who is interested in becoming a member of Kappa Delta Chi sorority. Though we are Latina based, we are not Latina exclusive. We encourage women from all ethnic backgrounds to unite and create a more harmoniously diverse sisterhood. To become a member, you must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.3 at our universities, with the exception of incoming freshmen and transfer students. We also look for women with positive attitudes, well established priorities, a strong sense of responsibility, and high moral standards.

The rush process takes a certain amount of dedication. It is designed to strengthen our new members time management, interaction, and study skills. The process consists of both Open Rush and Closed Rush. Together they can take a number of weeks during which you will be expected to complete study, fundraising, and community service hours. Rush is an arduous venture, but nevertheless fun and exciting. Becoming a part of our sisterhood has proven to be a rewarding and emotional tradition.
Kappa Delta Chi does not haze in any way. It is a "tradition" that directly contradicts our four values of unity, honesty, integrity, and leadership. Our rush process does not contain any activity that would demean or harass a new member. Hazing is simply a practice that we consider to be childish and inappropriate for educated young women.
