My page for stereo stuff. Really lame, but I SUCK with HTML,
and pagebuilder doesn't like my pictures at all.

Head Unit: Kenwood KDC-3011 Doesn't skip, on any road.

EQ: Urban Audio EQ/Crossover Used so I can adjust sub level on the fly

Amps: Sony EXM 302 Old amp, runs 30 x 2 rms. Clean sounding.
Crossfire CFA 150.2 It's one of the older white models, rated at 400rms. HUGE improvement over the Crunch.

Subs: Two MTX 5000 tens 250rms powerhandling each. 8 ohms.

Highs: Memphis 4x6's w/ swivel tweets in dash, run off Sony amp. Sound really good, LOUD. The soundstage from the dash location isn't that bad.

Update
The AudioControl EQL is for sale, I need some cash. The boxes are gone and a new, thinner box was made to put both subs in the very corner of the passenger side. I found that with the windows up this gives the least cancelation and most spl from the driver's seat. Looking for a new amp for the subs, and new subs (tore the surround on them, repaired, but still want better). The Sony amp is under the driver's side of the bench now, and the 5x7's are gone.

Getting the project started. Gutted it out to make running
the 4 guage wire, remote, and RCA's easier. Also made
it far easier to get the boxes and amps in place.

Getting the boxes together and carpeted. 3/4" MDF with
0.77ft^3 of airspace each. Used bolts as terminals to
eliminate the chance of a flexing, leaky, terminal cup.

The completed boxes and storage area sitting
in my room, waiting to be installed. You can
see the terminal bolts if you look close.

The subs and amps in the truck. You can see the
Crunch is under the seat with the distrobution block,
and the Sony and EQL are under a cover on the
hump in the center of the truck. Crunch is now a Crossfire, the EQL is gone, and the Sony is on a rack under the drivers seat.

Pic of the Kenwood KDC-3011 and the
panel I made to replace the stock
controls. A pocket will soon reside there.

Completed. The 5x7's are gone, and the center console thing is as well.

The Urban EQ, still mounted there, and the old
"kickpanel" with an Audiovix Rampage 3-way 6 1/2.

Pic of my old amp setup.

Old sub setup

Have some new pics to scan, of the Crossfire amp and Sony amp mounted under the seat.
