Happy Valentine's Day!!!

Yet another entry without any puppy pictures! I know I said last time that I was going to get some online soon, but the saga continues. I did finally get the photo CD from the shop, but when I tried it on my computer, none of the files would open! Apparently the brilliant photo place had decided to save the photos as digital images, not the normal jpegs, therefore I can't use them. The guy at the shop is extremely upset at the processing place and he's going to make a new disk for me, no charge, when they get their shipment of disks next week. By that time I should have another film ready to be developed, so there will be puppy pics all over the place!

Perhaps I should explain why there is a horse at the top of this page. It's simple. This week (on the 12th, to be precise) is the beginning of the Chinese year of the horse. Of course, Kylan and I use this as an excuse to eat Chinese food as much as possible this week (not that we actually need an excuse ...Chinese food is our fave). But I thought it would be appropriate to add a link to a page that explained the significance of the year of the horse as well as gave a bit of background on the Chinese calendar. Feel free to click on the horse if you want to know more!

Until next time,
D.

The past week has been pretty busy for us. We went to a movie on Monday night (the new version of "Rollerball" ...don't bother, it's horrible), an NBA game Tuesday night (Cavs vs Raptors...my first Raptors game in a couple of years and they lost!), and Kylan had his kung fu class Wednesday night, while I did some yoga. Tonight we're going out to dinner to a great little Japanese restaurant where they grill at your table. Plus we have tickets to a concert on Saturday. At least we get Friday night to breath!
