(MBC) Scent of Man (2003)
Kwon Hyuk-soo (Ahn Jae-mo) is a high school student who meets Shin Eun-ae (Han Eun-jung). Hyuk-soo and Eun-ae become close...Hyuk-soo finds out that his father has a woman in mind to marry. Without knowing who the woman is (only knowing that she has a very short time to live because of cancer) he urges his father to marry. To his surprise the woman his father marries is Eun-ae's mother. Hyuk-soo and Eun-ae's relationship becomes tangled and awkward. One day Eun-ae is raped by one of the gangsters from school. When Hyuk-su finds out about this he confronts the Eun-ae's offender and beats him up along with his gang. Thus putting him in to a facility where he ends up serving time. When Hyuk-soo gets out of jail, his life will be a life of a man involved with gangsters, and in love with his stepsister Eun-ae... Jung Chul-min (Kim Jung-hyun) is a a man who tries to pursue Eun-ae. But like Hyuk-soo she is entwined in a sad situation...and also in love with Hyuk-soo. But will these two be able to show there love freely to the world? |
