Hong Kyung-tak (Cha Seung-won) has just returned from the army. A man reaching his thirties, he is a good-hearted citizen. Kyung-tak gets hired as a bodyguard for KBB Security Company.
Being a good citizen, he cann't stand wrong doings. Because of the Song Il-kook (Han Sung-su), who is the president of KBB, Kyung-tak quits the company. Il-kook was trying to bring down a politician using bribary. So, after quitting KBB, he joins
another security company led by his friend.
Park Yu-jin (Han Go-eun), is a female bodyguard working at KBB. She develops feelings for Kyung-tak. At the same time Il-kook likes Yu-jin. But seeing the wrong-doings of Il-kook, Yu-jin
dismisses Il-kook's feelings for her. Kyung-tak's sister's friend, Lim Eun-kyung (Na Young) moves in to the neighborhood with her grandmother. Eun-kyung starts liking Kyung-tak, but Kyung-tak thinks of Eun-kyung as a
little sister. When Eun-kyung's grandmother passes away, she goes and lives with Kyung-tak's family.
To make matters confusing...Eun-kyung is actually the illegitmate daughter of a powerful politician. Eun-kyung's father is running for president. He is also working with Il-kook's father secretly planning and ordering out murders. Kyung-tak is the bodyguard of the politician that is running against
Eun-kyung's father. See what Kyung-tak goes through to protect the people around him while working as a "bodyguard".
