There are some things you can do to make your AOL work better for you and i will share some of them with you.

A: some time the connection is lost because adapters are not working properly to fix or update this follow this rule and it may help. On the AOL ICON right click it and go to systems information left click and click on uninstall adapters and wait then a acreen will come up and tell you to restar PC and go back to online; the process will take a few minutes to do so just relax and let PC do its job and AOL will update and hopefull it will work better for you.

2: Another rule is AOL does use your IEbrowser but the use their search engine (messagebar) and u must keep browser cleaned tracking so do this right click on AOL Icon and go to systems info and delete cache this will clean browser and on IE go to tools internet options and click on delete files and then click on delete history (now here is another secret under History here set the days to keep history to 0 and when you close pc down this all will be done before you start back up your computer.

The least amonut of things you have on your startup the better off you will be as to running your pc faster and smoother. 1: Programs like Yahoo,Msn and ICQ are programs you can open from programs after you open and get online to use them.

2: Open these programs from from START, PROGRAMS will enhance performance of Computer in Time opening up cpmputer.

3:Remember the less amount you have starting up on start up the better computer will load.
