Laura Iverson
Amy Donovan
Amy Donovan, although she feels a long lost sister connection to Kelley, is no relation but
she is thrilled to be joining KD & D for the first time. Amy explores the relationship of
body, mind, and spirit by improvising to live music, practicing yoga, meditation, contact
improvisation, New Dance Principles, modern dance, and African Dance. Amy has been dancing
since age three and graduated from Salem State College in 1996 with a degree in Theater and
Dance. She has performed with Danny Swain, Astou Sagna, and Caitlin Corbett and has performed
in many Shared Choreographer�s Concerts at the Dance Complex. She performed in and served as
assistant choreographer of Salem State�s production of "Hair; the American Tribal Love Rock
Musical."
Megan Przygoda
Megan Przygoda has a B.A. in Dance and Sociology from Skidmore College and in
2000-2001 trained as a scholarship student at Gus Giordano Dance Center in
Chicago, IL. Currently, Megan also performs with Verhoff/LoTurco Danceworks,
a NY based modern jazz company and recently performed with Upward Spiral Modern
Dance Company. Megan is excited to be dancing in her first season with KD&D.
Andrea Blesso
Andrea Blesso is from Billerica, Massachusetts. She is a 2001 graduate of
Roger Williams University where she received a BA in Dance/Performance. She has performed
the works of artists such as Sean Curran, Doug Elkins, Heidi Latsky, Emilie Plauche, Heidi
Henderson, and Edisa Weeks. Andrea�s own choreography has received recognition at Roger
Williams University where it was set on The Dance Theater; American College Dance Festival
2001 where it was chosen for the Gala; and the Florida Dance Festival 2001 in Miami.
Andrea has performed with Boston-based Upward Spiral Dance Company and Annie Kloppenberg, and currently works with
Bennett Dance Company. This is her first season with Kelley Donovan & Dancers.
Patty Tudisco
Patty Tudisco received her Bachelor of Arts from Bradford College in 1997 and
an Associate of Arts in Dance from Dean College in 1995. Patty has performed in
The Macy�s Day Parade in New York, The 1996 Olympic games, "Dance By Design"
(Harvard independent film soon to be released!), and most recently dancing with
Exit Dance Theatre a modern dance company in Newburyport MA. In addition
to performing Patty has choreographed her first muscial, "Joseph and the Amazing
Technicolor Dreamcoat" for The FireHouse Center for the Arts this spring in
Newburyport MA. She has also Co-Choreographed for a local performance of
The Nutcracker last winter. Patty will be teaching Ballet at Karla Pattavina's
Dance Academy in Haverhill, Mass in the Fall as well as guest teaching at a number
of studios throughout New England. This is Patty's third appearance with KD&D.
Kelley Donovan Kelley Donovan has been presenting choreography in the Boston area since 1990 and has performed work by Laura Knott, Marcus Schulkind, Spencer/Colton, Liz Lerman, Ann Carlson, Jody Weber, PB&J and Abydos, an improvisational dance ensemble. She formed Kelley Donovan & Dancers two years ago and has presented four concerts of choreography. Her choreography has been produced by MIT, Mass College of Art, The Artist Foundation, The Actors Workshop, Mobius and The Federal Reserve Bank. Kelley studied choreography with Mark Morris, Bessie Sch�nberg, Deborah Jowitt and received a B.A. from Bradford College in 1989.
Avery Lee
Avery Lee has performed with the Litchfield Ballet and at the New Hampshire Dance Festival
and on the nationally televised March of Dimes Telethon. Avery performs annually at the
Summer Dance Intensive in Nashua, NH and has been a teacher at Plymouth State College
since 1988. She is the Associate Director of Summer Dance Intensive, Plymouth N.H. and has been
Guest Faculty/Performer at the American College Dance Festival in Maine, Boston, and New Hampshire.
She has choreographed a variety of dance work utilizing skills in modern, ballroom, jazz, ballet,
improvisation which has been performed throughout the New England Area.
Nathalie Kuldell
Natalie's first performance in Boston was in an AIDS benefit concert
called "Rhythms of Hope" in 1988. At that time she also joined the
Cambridge-based Performing Arts Ensemble (PAE), under the direction of
Deborah Weaver. While with PAE, she worked with such talented
choreographers as Danny Buraczeski and David Dorfmann. Her teachers in
Boston have included Idy Coddington for ballet, Marcus Schulkind for
modern, and Jim Viera for musical theater. Natalie's most recent
performances have been in "Short Stories" with the Jeannette Neill Dance
Studio, and "Summertime" which was choreographed by Michael Owens as part
of the 2002 Boston Summer Dance Festival. She feels fortunate to be
dancing with Kelley Donovan & Dancers for the first time this season. When
she is not dancing, Natalie teaches biology at Wellesley College, and is a
visiting scientist at Harvard Medical School.
Carrie Schantz
Carrie Schantz is originally from Lansdale, Pennsylvania, but has happily
called Boston her home for four years now. She is a graduate of The Boston
Conservatory where she received a B.F.A. in Dance Performance. Her training
includes Limon, Graham, ballet, African, Alexander Technique, and
Performance Art. She has had the honor of performing works by George
Balanchine, Jose Limon, Martha Graham, members of Bennett Dance Company,
Callie Chapman Korn, Annie Kloppenberg, Sandra Stone, Rhonda Wall, and Ivan
Korn. Carrie also dances with the Boston based company Zo� Dance.

Mary McCarthy
Mary McCarthy began her formal ballet training at the Walnut Hill School for
the Performing Arts in Natick. She attended the University of Massachusetts in
Amherst where she received her bachelor�s degree in Sociology. While in Western
Mass, Mary took dance classes with the Five College Dance Department and
collaborated with two MFA candidates on the creation of their theses at Smith
College. She has been a member of the Lisa Leizman Dance Company since 1997,
performing at such venues as The Northampton Center for the Arts, Hampshire
College�s Elderhostel, and First Night Northampton. During the summer of 2000
Mary participated in the Doug Varone and Dancers summer intensive at SUNY-Purchase.
Having recently relocated, Mary is excited to be back in Boston and performing
with KD&D.
Cara Alaimo
A newcomer to Kelley Donovan & Dancers, Cara Alaimo has been dancing since the
age of five. She graduated from Bucknell University Cum Laude, where she studied
literature and minored in dance. At Bucknell, she founded a modern dance company,
The Choreographer�s Showcase, for which she also danced and choreographed. While
abroad in college, she danced at Bath University in England studying choreography
and production. In the past four years, Cara has danced in the choreography of
Beth Hirshaut-Iguchi and Danna Frangione. She made her Boston debut in Jody Weber�s
piece, Breather, at the Somerville ArtBeat festival this summer, and
continues to be a true student of dance history and technique. Cara is currently
working on her master�s degree in dance and multicultural arts education at Lesley
University.
Jen Schoonover
Jen Schoonover directs Cape Dance Theater, a community dance program at Cape Cod Community
College, and choreographed for Voice and Vision Theater and the Irondale Ensemble Project
in New York City, Theater Outlet in Allentown, Pennsylvania, and the Willing Suspension
Players at Boston University. Jen also dances with Back Pocket Dancers and the Peanut
Butter and Jelly Dance Company. Also a competing Scottish Highland dancer, Jen is a
founding member of Highland Dance Boston and has danced at the Kennedy Center in fiddler
Bonnie Rideout's touring show, "A Scottish Christmas."
Shannon Regan
Shannon Regan is from Leominster, Massachusetts. She received her BFA in dance
performance from Butler University in 1999. She has studied ballet, tap, Simonson, Limon,
Graham, Horton, and Dunham techniques. She received her training at Boston Ballet, Alvin Ailey
American School of Dance, The Limon Institute and DanceSpace Center. Shannon currently
does outreach work in the Boston Public Schools. She is thrilled to be working with Kelley and
excited to be performing.
Laurel Fahy
Laurel Fahy began training with the Granite State Ballet and received a degree
from Dean Jr. College for dance and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Keene State
College. She has performed in the ACDF, Spirit Speaks with Alta Lu Townes, with
Bill Fowler and Jane Perch. She is the founder of Laurel Fahy & Collaboration
sponsored by Out of the Blue Gallery. She began teaching at the Academy of
Movement and continues to teach for Cathy Bernard in
Nashua N.H. and to choreograph for children's musician Gary Rosen.
