I started writing poetry when I was very young, I believe about 2nd grade which would have made me 6 or 7. It began as assignments for class, but I quickly developed an interest and wrote on my own outside of class. I quit writing about 7th grade, I'm not really sure why, and never picked it up again until a couple years ago. Unfortunately I've lost all my works from those many years ago...it would be nice to read them again and see how my writing has grown. As it is, I don't have much to look at. I currently have about 20 completed poems and five times as many I started and never finished. I may eventually put all of them on my page, but for now I'm just going to put a selection.
Actually, I ended up taking all my original work off the site...paranoia. But I left one page that has a conglomeration of poems from some of my favorite authors. I hope you like them as much as I do. Oh, and on a side note, all the poems on my page are copyrighted unless otherwise noted so if you wish to use them please get consent from the author.
