Rundown: Preamble to First Movie. Mewtwo's birth is coupled with Dr. Fuji's obsession with his deceased daughter, whom he attempts to revive. The child's mind is drawn to the young Mewtwo and other sleeping clones in the laboratory. "Amber-Two" leads the child pokemon into a world made up of her memories. The process by which she has been revived, however, is incomplete, and she, along with several of the other clones, fades away. Mewtwo mourns for her, but is sedated to keep his emotional distress from endangering the lab.
