I sat there

Talking to you

Wondering what I should do

I hadn't seen you in so long now

And out of the blue you appear to me how

I sat there

Telling you everything

That's happened to me

And my surrounding human beings

I sat there

Telling you all of my problems

All of the times I had cried for you to come back and save me

I sat there

Crying and hoping that you would never leave me again

I sat there

Asking you why you had to go

And leave me without a house or a home

I sat there

And I begged and I pleaded

For you to answer me

But you would not answer

For you were not there

All of the time that

I sat there

Begging pleading crying asking

Talking telling and hoping

I never realized that

I sat there

Talking to no one but myself
