The above image is something that I am very proud of. It is the "H" Claddagh...that has come to represent our heritage and our family. The claddagh ring is an Irish wedding ring that originated in Claddagh, a town in Ireland exsists only in memories. Depending on the direction the ring is worn on your finger determines whether you are single or not. Centuries later the ring is still worn but as more of a tie to ones ancestry. For me personaly it is a representation of my heritige, my ring was given to me by my mother, so it is very special to me. Almost everyone in our family has a claddagh ring...but I decided to personalize it. I sketched a rough draft of the H in the claddagh, intending on making it into a vinyl decal for my car. I gave that draft to my brother-in-law, he cleaned it up on the computer and now everyone of my siblings, my parents, and even extended family members has this symbol on the car. I have had them made in many colors, sizes and even into small labels, with other letters too, for Irish people proud of their heritage. Two of my brothers have very special Claddagh Rings, they had them personaly designed to be worn as their wedding band. I get excited when I think about it because one of them even had our "H" design included in his. That meant a lot to me. |

Now moving on to the family...were do I start? let me just say it with pictures. I've gone through every photo box I have and found pictures to represent everyone in my family...I hope this page gives you a small idea of how much I love my big happy family! |
