To promote actions that foster self-confidence in members 6.) To develop skills in communications, human relations, and societal interaction. 7.) To build cooperative attitudes among members. 8.) To promote organized recreational and social activities for KDE. 9.) To promote collegiality among members. 10.) To acquaint members with educational leaders. 11.) To inform members or opportunities within the College of Education and the University. 12.) To promote service to the College of Education, Central Michigan University, and the educational community. |
| Kappa Delta Epsilon recognizes, through its membership, outstanding students preparing to enter the teaching profession and those actively engaged in teaching or related professions. As a professional organization, it is an active group in which members of serious purpose undertake projects of service to the campus and/ or community. Regular meetings acquaint members with the history and ethics of the teaching professions, imbue them with a sense of responsibility, and keep them in touch with the current problems of education. Kappa Delta Epsilon enhances teaching as a profession and as a way of living. |
