What is KDE? |
Kappa Delta Epsilon, commonly referred to as "KDE," is a national professional education fraternity. The goal of our organization is to provide students with many great opportunities to further their development as future teachers. Some of these opportunities include: listening to insights from professional educators, participating and attending professional education developmental workshops, learning how to build a quality resume, and gaining valuable insights from peers, just to name a few. The best part of our group is that we have fun throughout it all! So if KDE sounds like the opportunity you've been looking for, contact us for more information. |

Active Members: Active members are juniors and seniors who have completed all of the criteria to be in Kappa Delta Epsilon. They are added to Kappa Delta Epsilon's National List and pay the full fee of $30.00 per semester. Active members will be formally inducted into Kappa Delta Epsilon.
Inactive Members: Inactive members can be any one of the following: ~Freshmen or sophomores who are working to complete OR have already completed the above requirements ~Juniors or seniors who have not currently completed the requirements but are in the process of finishing them ~Returning members can become inactive if they fail to participate in the required amount of events
Because we cannot list inactive members on our national list, they will only pay $20.00 per semester. They are, however, still responsible for attending the same amount of events and meetings as an active member. An inactive member should continue to fulfill the requirements that he/she has yet to complete and hopefully will become active in a relatively short amount of time. Only active members can be formally inducted into Kappa Delta Epsilon. |
