| We have developed this site for family, friends and others interested in seeing what Guam is like. David is stationed at Andersen Air Force Base here in Guam. We arrived here in March 2001 and have enjoyed every minute of it. We just could not wait to get away from Malmstrom AFB in Montana. Not our kind of life! For those who aren't exactly sure what Guam is like just take a look at the pictures that we have taken. The weather is beautiful every day, all year round and there is always a breeze. Every once in awhile it will rain but that only lasts for about 10 minutes. Guam does experience earthquakes quite frequently but the coral that surrounds the island seems to absorb the motion. I have only felt one so far since I have been here but it only lasted about 3 seconds and I could barely feel it. There are so many neat things to see and do here on the island no matter which direction you go. You can go scuba diving, snorkeling, enjoy a ride on the Atlantis submarine, fishing, jet skiing, golfing, hiking, relax under the waterfalls...whatever you can think of it's here! Sounds like a dream come true huh? The water around the island is very beautiful but you have to wear water shoes because there is a lot of coral that washes up on the shore. There's a lot more to say about the island but I am going to stop here. Keep checking back for more. Check out the pictures from our trip to Australia in the miscelaaneous links section. We had a great time and really enjoyed our trip :) |
