Biographical Information

The pictures above are of me and my husband Abe Dickerson.  We got married June 28, 2003, and so far everything is going great.  Abe was my high school sweetheart.  We live in Dadeville, MO which is NW of Springfield and about four miles from Stockton Lake.

My granny, my mom’s mom, started teaching me to crochet before I started kindergarten.  I didn’t get very far.  I remember being very proud of a chain I crocheted that stretched around her entire house, but that’s about all I could do.  Several years later my mom taught me how to single crochet and my very first projects were square potholders.  Now, when I can find time, I do afghans and other smaller projects.  I have a terrible habit of starting more projects before I finish old ones however so I have several works that are IP, and have been for a very long time.  I’ll finish them someday…  My mom makes the most intricate and beautiful afghans.  Someday I hope to achieve that level.
