There was a robbery at Jalan Rimba Riang 9/2 at about 11.30am. Two suspected Indonesian cut padlock hinge on the main entrance door grille and broke the solid timber door using crowbar. Some jewelleries were stolen. Fortunately the maid was not harmed.
There was an attempted break-in in Phase 2 Jalan 9/4 this morning around 3.45am. Owner was not in the house. Our guard Sugu was doing his round and saw 2 men trying to cut the hinges. Upon seeing the guard, both of them fled to the hills. Attempt to catch the burglars by the guards failed. The hinges almost cut through upon inspection. Again, residents are advise to add protection on the grill hinges. This can be done at RM15.00 each. Call Tim at 016-2255837
There was a break-in in Phase 1 Jalan 9/3 this morning around 5.00am. Two young & fair men gain entry to the house through a side back timber door & prise opened the grill door. The two men armed with a knife held the maid sleeping on the ground floor. The maid panic and screamed. The owner in the master bedroom realises that something is not right, trigger the alarm system. The two men fled on hearing the siren. Fortunately no one was injured and in the haste nothing was taken from the house except a bunch of house keys. The guard on hearing the alarm arrived at the scene and moments later the police arrived as the owner had called the Kota Damansara police station.
There were 3 incidents of smashing the side car window and stealing the smart tag. The latest incident happened on sunday 13th december 2005 in the evening when it was raining. All 3 cases occured in Phase 1.
All residents are advise NOT to display their smart tag on the windscreen. This smart tag stealing has been going on for a very long time in the country, so please take note.
