| Probly the best part of this weekend with the pipe fiasco.The pipe fiasco was, in short,funny as all heck.I was borrowing an exuast from my very good friend Shawn .It was a supertrapp stuck on some old somthin or other header.It was a downpipe, dirttracker style, and poked out the right side.We werent real worried about ground clearance, becuase we tilted it over and it didnt hit,it went onto the swingarm first.Well, for a practice we took off the plates, and ran it like a hardly but still baffled pipe.It had a sweet tone to it,and was load enophe to drive the intire pits nuts.Good stuff...Well, i went out in the practice and I wasnt real comfortable.This was realy an off weekend for me, and I ran all weekend dirt track style, with my foot out.Well, as I was going throught the carosell, and the bike was realy riding low.My suspension is pretty soft and when I ride with the foot out style I put alot of weight intio the bike when I turn.Well, the suspension was so compressed that the pipe drug.I pivitod on it, as a matter of fact.I was riding the front brakes and becuas of the pipe dragging it flung me forward.I let off the brake, the rearend came down a foot to the left of the front tire, and sudenly my bike was much louder. When I hit the pipe I had knocked the baffle out.I have to say I was luaghing my butt off going down the straight watching the guys point at my pipe and cover there ears as I went by.Admitidly I shoul have went in but I knew that to find the baffle and get it put back together would take the rest of that practice,eat up valuable track time, and Id have to wait an hour and a half to get to the next practice.My placement in the races was so bad I dont want to mention it, and Im realy angry at myself.I know I can do so much better,if id just have confidance and not hold back so much.Im determined to make the last race of the season one that wont be soon forgoten.
