Race report 6-The 4th anual YSR invitational
Friday I got to the track early and went out for practices.Things went well, despite crashing many times.I tried many different bikes, XRs and YSRs.And even went out on Shawns pit bike-an ATC70 three wheeler.HAHAHA!!!For those of you who dont know an ATC70 was the first three wheeler I had.Ive grown since then...it died in the middle of the first lap and I got to push it in in my leathers. The gas was blocked by a very dirtie fuel filter. And he gives me a hard time cuz I dont keep my bikes cleen.
Saturday was sprints, and I raced in two classes.Stock 100, and Novice/beginner.I opted not to get run down in formula thunder.Unfortunatly, there were some heated moments about rules in the classes.Mainly from the fact that there was () class structure.I wont go into detail here, I dont want to stick my foot in my mouth later. Aside from that things went well, and as usual Ron went through alot of stress to keep us up and running. There were alot of people there and the racing was good.

Novice/begginer heat:I had an exelent start and led into turn one. Then was quikly passed by most the field.I struggled to keep up,but no luck.As I was coming around the back sectionI was going to fast trying to catch up and rode way into the grass.I sideswiped th haybales at full throtle and smashed my foot between my peg and hay.

Stock100 heat:Again, a good start but went back fast.My foot hurt so I took it easy.Only a heat right?

Novice/begginer main:I have a feeling these guys were a bit better than the title implies...lets just say I got passed twice buy the leader, and everyone else.

Stock100:There was alot of contridiction with this name too.Stock 100, right...

Sunday I got there completly unaware where I was going, what I was riding.I talked to ron, and he told me we had a big group, racing two bike. Both XR100s, #s 11 and 17.At least I didnt have to struggle with a two stroke.I rode on the second rotation, and a while latter. In the second session I was passed by an xr.He went around and I tried to pass back.I went to the inside right as he did.Our tires toucked and I was thrown off.I went face first into the ground.Big scratches on the helm..A while later my dad showed up and I asked to go out again. When I came in the person who took my place said hed be out the rest of the race. With an hour still on the clock I doubted it, but sure enophe he did.Another replacment went out, and also vowed to finish.Unfortunatly a motor mount snapped off on one of the bikes, and it happend to hold the clutch tight. So that bike didnt finish.Overall we took 9th, and last.
