Friday I went to a friends house after school and spent the night for his birthday.I walked home Saturday morning and asked my mom if we were going to go camping. She told me my dad got my bike fixed and so I could go raceing the next day.It was origanaly planned I wouldnt be able to go to the races on back to back weekends, becuase of lack of $,but somebody up there likes me so, I was getting to race.I read on nw-mini that not to many people showed up saturday,so I thought hey, maybe Ill get good points.

Sunday we got to the track just in time to show up, my mom still doesnt get it that we should get there earlyer, and I got setup for a practice. It was almost time to go out and I noticed that Ron wasnt there, nor my normwly borrowed back protector. So I went out and took it majorly easy without one.I also had no transponder, cuz I normaly borrow that too.My practice went well, nothing realy to speak of,And i started to search for a protector.I sill didnt get one by the time we were up for qualifieing,so I did that without one too, but I didnt bother pushing it, I wasnt getting timed anyway. Then the heat came, and I started to realy race.I almost had Shawn when my rear tire was all over the place and my motor was making a funy sound.I went in after ansd looked at the adjusters  for the valves. They were fine.I put it al back together and didnt hear it as bad anymore, so I thought maybe I got it.I also noticed there was oil all over my front tire.Hmm.I rode it around back for a while, and came to park it.As I was parking it the bike started to uncontrollabley build revs, so I shut it off and parked it.After a while I was starting to think about it and decided to ride it again. It had no problem untill I started to park it, then it did it again.A follow XR rider came over and explained when I put the tank on I had put the throttle cable in the wrong spot so when I turned the bars near the lock position it pulled the cable inside.A little bolt and a little tweaking later if was fixed.I went out for the main and got a great start, with most of the ysr racers barly in front of me.They all walked away from me, and I battled Shawn.I got around him and stayed there for a while, but the bad handling came back.I started to slow down and Shawn went by me.I fought him for it back but it was to late, he went over the finishe line just before me.

After being plueged with machanical problems all day I sat back and relaxed to watch the 80 class go at it.Ian and Seth had a great race, with Seth coming in just in front of Ian for the win.Read Ians report for more info on this great race.I went home that night and did a bolt check all thorought the bike and found that my rear axle was barley holding together and that the tire was flopping from side to side without a care in the world. No wonder it handled so bad.And for the second time in a row I went without a single crash. On the other hand I came in last, but thats ok,right?
