The next morning I awoke refreshed, and alive, a feeling that would be gone as soon as I had hung a half dozen panels of sheetrock( Shawn perents are building a new shop, and took advantage of me manly brute streangth).We went to the track about 10 am to watch practices.I have a question.Why didnt anyone tell me you could get awsome seat covers for XRs?! Her name was Marry and there realy was something about her...
Anyways, back the matter at hand.Sunday morning time changes threw us off, but we still managed to get there on time.I suited up and went out for a practice.Still getting my bearings I took it easy for a few laps, and contuinues with he trusted foot out method.However, during the second practice,I switched to roadracer style, and dicovered I was much faster.Soon I was railing throught corners and dragging pegs.What fun!Also, I found that I am short shifting, and can make up alot of time in the back stretch if I let it rev a bit.During the heat I got a great start and jumped in front of Ralph and Seth.I actualy led!Of course I was soon passed by both, but maneged to stay near Ralph he whole race. In the heat I got a bad start due to bad jetting we still havent sorte out,but I finished second becuase Seth went down in the last corner and snaped off his right handlebar.
