The day of the concrete pour arrives - with two full concrete trucks! 

It is a messy job and takes several guys to oversee.
Farmer Bill comes to supervise the concrete guys.

Several days later (many!) the concrete blocks  and the post lumber arrive.

They have a cool machine to unload the concrete blocks.

The unloading of the sand for the mortar is more basic!
     ------------->
Cleeson, one of the masons, is working away, with Mackie the supervisor getting in the picture too!     --------------------->
(When Cleeson first saw Mackie's paw prints in the mud, he thought they were from a bear!)

First day's work - the deep end of the trench is blocked up to grade.
