| The 30 July 1945 issue of The Anderson Independent said,
" MRS. MARY GLYMPH - Mrs. Mary SULLIVAN GLYMPH, 83, died at 9:15
o'clock Saturday night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. H.G. COWAN in
Westminster. She was ill about one month. Mrs. GLYMPH was a native of
Hart County, the daughter of Charles and Nancy PARROTT SULLIVAN. Her
husband, B.H. GLYMPH, died January 17, 1941. For many years prior to her
death, Mrs. GLYMPH made her home in Fair Play. Surviving are three
daughters, and five sons, Mrs. H.M. LOVINGGOOD of Fair Play; Mrs. Dora
HARBIN and Mrs. H.G. COWAN, of Westminster; J.S., M.G., W.N., and O.L.
GLYMPH, all of Fair Play, and L.M. GYLMPH of Greenville. Thirty
grandchildren and twenty-seven great-grandchildren also survive."
