Benman L. Lovinggood
PENDLETON, S.C. - Benman L Lovinggood, 82, of Bushanan Circle, died
Monday, March 9, 1992, at the Anna Maria Nursing Home in North Augusta.
Born in Fair Play, he was a retired textile technician with Clemson University and was a member of the Pendleton First Unite Methodist Church, where he was a member of the Men's Bible Class.
Surviving are widow, Martha Gaston Lovinggood; son Benman G. Lovinggod of Iva; daughters, Polly Thrift of Westminster and Peggy Linsay of Brooks, Ky.; brothers, H.M. Lovinggood of Pickens and Norman A. Lovinggood of Mauldin; sisters, Iris L. Whitmire of Anderson, Gladys L. Bruce of Fair Play, Lois L. Maret of Townville and Lula Mae L. Neal of Cedar Town, Ga., four grandchildren.
He was the son of the late Henry M. and Corrie Glymph Lovinggood.
Graveside services are at 3 pm Wednesday at Memory Gardens by the Rev. Jerry Warmath. Visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 pm Tuesday at the Duckett Funeral Home, Clemson chapel. Memorials may be made to the Pendleton First Baptist Chruch, P.O. Box 187, Pendleton, S.C. 29670.
