Soul Sightings
I trace your palm slightly with fingernail,
dreaming of our lifelines fair to join tale
beyond sharing treasures we hope, seek,
the shining awakens our conscious feat.

The fine dew upon your lips calls welcome,
slight trembling, quiet gasps meet to some
merging, I kiss first fine skin, then press,
blending tongue to yours in urgent address.

The silk of your scent, gardened hair falls
to frame my face in warming lush halls.
Your throat pulses insistent to my graze,
you pull me closer to breast, desirous haze.

I hold you at arm's length to study your eyes,
the glimmer of wells, strewn depths gold sighs,
the grace of waist to hips so speak of fullness.
How can such kindness dwell your wholeness?

I would take your hand in mine to keep safe,
and all the world may pass us by to our fate,
for all that I am I would seek to be as you,
and find the joy of oneness as our only true.
