Promise In The Wind
I fall alone
among the shadows.
They feel like home.
Where the wind blows.

It's where I go,
to the black lands
I can not show
but my heart can.

Who helps me now,
stop the pain
Please tell me how.
Thundering rain.

Who casts the stone
and breaks the glass
of my dark home?
Who breaks my fast?

You are a sign, some one to lead, to let me bleed,
to kill the horrors of my mind.
You are a line, from waters deep, to let me leap,
explore the wonders of my find.
You are the one.

Bring down the wall
and break the stone.
Do you hear my call?
I want your own.

From dark to light.
My eyes are blind.
You give me sight.
It's not your kind.

I want the world
to stand so still
and let you, girl
climb down the hill.

There is no day,
without your touch
Could it be my way?
Could I say too much?

You are the place, you are the time.  I am the shine,
the clown, the fool of every hall.
I can not run, I can not hide, You are my pride,
the thing that I treasure more than all.
You are the one.

So take me through
the beasts, the gate,
the devil's soup
that was my fate.

And kiss me deep.
Hold to my hand,
so I can leap
my darkened land.

I can begin
to build a bridge.
See my within.
The sharpened ridge.

What do you do
that makes me safe?
What will you do?
Will I be late?

There is no despair, there is only you; can you be true?
You are a promise in the wind.
This is my life, you will complete, I must defeat
my demons who have sinned.
You are the one.
