� � �Stage A, Stage B & Stage C of Route 1 will require no bridging. �Not until the routes reach the Blue River is the expense incurred to build a bridge, although in practice, existing roads can be incorporated into the design to detour the rapid transportation route around this impediment.

� � � �The grade of the Bethany Limestone Formation was extrapolated from the report of the Missouri �Department of Natural Resource Division, along with information from RI number 72 of the dnr, which emphasized the construction of the tunnel under the Missouri River. �Using this extrapolated information, the Missouri River station and the Union station base elevations lie around 15' above the top of the tunnel crown. �In the case of the Plaza station, the distance may be more in the range of 30', but more detailed surveys will have to be done before final designs and alignments can be determined with any greater accuracy.
