I am a freelance writer. I write mainly short fiction, but have also written a couple of children's novels. Some of my stories have been / will shortly be published in First Edition Magazine, Flash, Ruthless Peoples Magazine and The People's Friend.
My first children's novel, Over The Mountains was a runner-up in the Scripture Union competition for new writers.
I also write commissioned pieces of factual and academic work to a high standard and on deadline, and have written shorter pieces for a number of websites (see links below). You can see samples of my fiction and non-fiction work here.
I am a graduate of the University of St Andrews, Scotland's first university. I was awarded first class honours in Ancient History, and also studied Philosophy, Medieval History, Ancient Greek and English Literature. I have a Diploma of Higher Education (DipHE) in Theology from International Christian College.
My name is Albanian (everybody asks). I lived and worked in Albania for a number of years but I am now based in my home town of Glasgow, Scotland.
I am available for commissions, fact or fiction. Please contact me to discuss topics, deadlines and (reasonable) fees. If you are interested in fiction I have already written, please contact me for samples.
Even if you think you don't need the services of a professional writer, you may wish to consider my proofreading service.. Badly written essays, reports, CVs and business letters give a terrible impression. Anyone can use a spellchecker, but flawless punctuation and grammer are a rare talent these days. If you are worried that your writing lets you down, get in touch with me to have it checked over.
