The skills that are developed through this type of training include such things as flexibility, confidence, leadership, respect, discipline, and self-defense. In today's society we are exposed to many negative forces that must be overcome. Through the course of training in Tae Kwon Do, the student transforms themselves in a noticable manner not only physically but mentally as well. At KC Martial Arts Club we strive to transform students into teachers. With opportunies beyond training, martial arts may become a vocation for some and we do offer an internship program.
