On June 14, at 0937 hours Jacob Tomas Williams was born on the Starship Firewing. The USS Firewing was a small scouting ship. Even though they didn't return to Earth every year, he called the ship, home. The crew was like a big family.
At the age of nine, his father, John Williams, became tactical officer, and his mother became the Chief science officer. This same year, he started to get into piloting. He grew up with a young child named Hakeem Jacobson. Hakeem's father had his son training on the holodeck to become a pilot.
When Jacob, himself, saw the shuttle bay and all the shuttles, he wanted to see them in action. His father took him to the holodeck and showed him the controls in the different shuttles. He taught him the every thing about piloting he knew. After that day he stayed up all night in the holodeck studying the controls, and flying the shuttles. At the age of thirteen, he had taken every piloting lesson that the computer had four times and could pass any of the lessons better then his on parents.
On his fifteenth birthday, Lieutenant Lacie McQueen, the main helmsmen for Firewing, took him onto a mission with her. She allowed him to pilot the ship as she scanned an L-class planet. When they returned to the Firewing, it was died in space. The Lieutenant told him that most the crewmembers on the ship were all dead, and the ship was less then minutes until it would be destroyed by an engine overload. They were about to go to warp when three Warbirds decloaked and started to fire on us. They barely made it out of the sector, but our ship was very damaged and Lieutenant McQueen had hit her head on a panel he had to fly us to the closest station. When the medical team came onboard the shuttle they had told him that she's lucky that he was there to pilot the shuttle otherwise she would have died.
At the age of 17, Lieutenant McQueen took Jacob in as she was stationed on the USS Blackstone and took care of him till she talked him into going to Starfleet Academy. She told him that when he was younger, his father would talk about him while he was commanding the night shift. He would tell her that he could become one of the best pilots in the Federation. He was so proud of his parents that he decided to go for his parents.
As he went through the Academy, he earned every metal that could be won for piloting. Admiral Jackson himself told him that he was almost good as the android named Data. But he said that Jacob was capable to of doing so much more then piloting. Jacob was told that his commanding skills were impressive but he needed to work more on it.
In his last years of cadet academy, Jacob was training with a squadron of fighters when a Borg attack took them by surprise. He risked his life by telling the other fighters to go to warp while he fought the Borg ship. He was captured and was taken as a Borg drone. But Starfleet had different plans for Jacob Williams. They were able to capture the ship and regain Jacob from the ship along with other Starfleet officers that had been taken.
Freshly out of the academy, he was stationed on the USS Gladiator as the assistant Chief Helms officer. But weeks later, the mighty Intrepid-class starship was decommissioned. He was then reassigned on the USS Nagasaki as Chief Helms Officer.

Achievements: As he went through StarFleet Academy, Jacob gained many piloting medals. He also earned a medal for hand to hand combat.
Disappointments: On his fifth birthday his parents died in a battle between the USS Firewing and three Romulan War-birds.
