He served on the USS Endeavor for five years as a Computer Technician. Three years into his career, he suffered a bout of Holoaddiction. by the time his fourth year of service came about, he had fully recovered. The ship's counselor suggested that the addiction might have done him some good.
Jason slowly grew, and eventually gained the respect of the other officers. He was found to have talent when he was given charge of work details, even once being left in charge of engineering for a short period.
Jason became more of an authority figure around engineering on the Endeavor, and was eventually offered the position of Assistant Engineering Officer. He accepted, and served an additional two years in that position. As time went on, people realized that even though he was quiet when off duty, when on duty, he took charge.
His first Senior officer position was on board the USS Sun Tzu, where he served the ship until it's destruction. Afterwards, he transferred to the USS Merlin, choosing to remain in the 9th fleet's Task Force 21.
Jason is a shy person, despite being in a position of authority. When off duty, he prefers to read a book in his quarters, or sit in a corner of the lounge, thinking about the latest improvement. He is extremely loyal, to both the ship and it's crew.
