Carson was born in Pittsburgh, Earth. His mother was a school teacher and his father was an enlisted security troop in Starfleet. His father raised him to be tough, and resourceful. His Mother raised him to be intelligent and philisophical. In school he was a member of all the sports teams and very popular with his peers, yet his grades were sub-par. He wasn't really sure what he wanted to do, but with persuasion from his father and his fathers contacts, he got recommandations from a captain and other officers and recieved a posistion at the academy.
At the academy Carson was again very populaur, but his grades were average at best, but in the sims and exercises is where he really shone through. He tiumphed again and again, to the amazement of his instructors, in simulations that were supposed to be no-win. he had a natural talent for flight.
Upon graduation he was proud of what he had become, and is now awaiting with excitement his first assignment.
On the surface he is the steroetypical fighter jock; vain, cockey, and overconfident, but underneath he has doubts of his ability, this causes him to push himself harder and further than he has to; sometimes taking great risks, to prove to himself how good he really is.
