has passed and the field has been set.
There is a very important reason that we keep to a sign-up deadline. With this deadline on Thursday, the team captains have a chance to view the roster of players prior to team drafts which take place on Friday. In addition to drafting the teams, the captains then set a rotation of quarterbacks is set at the same meeting.
The teams will be chosen to making them as fair and balanced as possible. If we would continue to accept registrations up to gametime, to keep them fair we would have to remake teams over and over again causing extra work for all of those involved in setting up this event.
We hope that you will join us next year as we will keep with tradition and hold the game the Saturday before SuperBowl Sunday. The Knight Bowl Committee will except registration for next years game begining on Dec. 1, 2009. The main focus of registration will begin one month before the game with council meeting sign-ups and email reminders to the council members up to the deadline date.
