Thanks for visiting my website. Lilian and I went on a month-long trip to Japan and China in 1999. It was an awesome trip. It was both an opportunity to tour the countries and an opportunity to finally meet my in-laws. DOH! :) Both were wonderful experiences. It was a very eye-opening experience and it's also great to be back in the states again.
During the trip I wrote a journal of what we did and my perspective during the trip. And of course we took pictures. 300 of them! No, really! That's like 10 for each day. What I wanted to do was transcribe my journal to the computer, scan in the better photos of the trip, and post them on the internet so that I could share them with my family and friends. I admit I'm a little long-winded -- but that's the beauty of an internet scrapbook. You can browse through at your leisure or look at everything if you want. So I hope you enjoy this virtual tour. If you ever get the opportunity to visit that part of the world by all means do so. It's truly an amazing place to see. Hopefully my journal will give you that impression.
